In the market for: home furnishings
This In the market for is a slight diversion from the norm in that I broke the $50 price limit since this installment features home furnishings. I tried to pick great rugs, night stands, chairs, duvets, tables, etc. at good prices (but not necessarily under $50). I love what I was able to find here online, but also keep in mind that my very favorite tools for finding affordable home furnishings are Marshalls, TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, IKEA, estate and yard sales, Craigslist, Etsy, second hand stores, and antique shops. It's important to keep an open and creative mind, because some things can be really revamped with a new coat of paint or stain (or something interesting like gold leaf details), new finishes or handles, etc.
